Bookkeepers

Our part-time bookkeepers are responsible for recording the financial transactions of a client’s business (sales, receipts, purchases and disbursements). Bookkeepers ensure the accuracy and creation of internal financial statements for companies and can work either remotely for clients or on site. Our team works 10-15 hours a week with a flexible schedule and ability to work on and off-site for our clients. Candidates should have 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience and/or an accounting degree.

Duties:

  • Maintain the chart of accounts

  • Process invoices, and payments

  • Enter AP invoices and journal entries

  • Asset, liability, and capital account entries

  • Prepare and issue financial statements

  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system

  • Document all financial transactions and enter account information

  • Assemble information for external auditors for the annual audit

  • Secure financial information by completing data base backups

  • Issue invoices and vouchers to customers/clients

  • Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy

Experience needed:

  • Journal entry preparation and account reconciliations

  • Accounting and corporate finance

  • Knowledge of standard accounting policies, procedures, and the accounting cycle

  • Data entry management with reporting skills and proficiency in Quickbooks and MS Excel

  • Attention to detail and strong organization skills

  • Deadline-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Time management with the ability to multi-task

  • Compiling with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions

Chief Financial Officers

Our part-time CFOs are primarily responsible for managing the client’s finances, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. Our CFOs are also responsible for analysis of data.

Duties:

  • Preparation and management of Financial Statements

  • Strategic Planning & Budgeting

  • Ensuring segregation of costs

  • Liaison and manage the reporting for & the relationships with a company’s bank, insurance & external auditors

  • Partner Resource: navigate the process with and for our clients to make sure they are covered in all areas of their business.

Experience needed:

  • 1-3 years working as a CFO or controller

  • Associates or BA in accounting

  • Attention to detail and strong organization skills

  • Deadline-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Administrative Staff

Our part-time office managers help to plan, direct, and coordinate supportive services of a company or an organization. Specific responsibilities vary, but administrative service managers typically maintain facilities and supervise activities that include record keeping, mail distribution, and office upkeep.

Duties:

  • Offer office solutions and organization

  • Creation of systems

  • Implementing cost reductions

  • Creating filing systems

  • Administrative and clerical support: data entry; meeting minutes; manage calendars and phones; office supplies

  • Manage correspondence
